Apart from her memorable performances in Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars, her uniqueness was also celebrated out of the kitchen. Today she remains a standout on screen, as a CNBC judge and recurring role in the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child. In 2012 Lofaso was a part of Penguin to release the Busy Mom's Cookbook 100 Cooking Ideas for Delicious home-cooked Meals The book also tells the story of her struggles during her time at the prestigious French Culinary Institute, and while raising her daughter Xea.
