Andree Martinez

Andree is a Mexican American born within El Paso. Her family has an interest in entertainment. Growing up, her family included a host of TV personalities such as Karla, the host of Univision's Despierta America. As a young child her family was filled with celebrities on television, like her older sister Karla (Host of Univision's Despierta America! Andrew Martinez is the vice head of Safety, Security as well as business Resiliency for Southern California Edison, one of America's largest electric utilities. SCE is committed to making safety for workers and security for the company a top priority. Martinez is the head of the activities and programs that are focused on those aspects. Martinez is accountable for supplying security leaders throughout the company with the support and guidance programs necessary to reach their goals for the safety group. Martinez's prior position was as Director for Safety Training and Compliance, Transmission & Distribution. Prior to that, Martinez was the head for Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services. Over the course of his thirty years with SCE Martinez has held several management positions in corrective actions and improvement initiatives, including positions at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) focused on protecting employees and the public from hazards.
