Cabello has had two significant relationships, first with dating coach and writer Matthew Hussey from February 2018 to June 2019, and then with Canadian singer Shawn Mendes from July 2019 to the present. Cabello is a philanthropist and has partnered with Save the Children, donated to GoFundMe campaigns, and participated in non-profit organizations that work for the welfare of children and poverty-stricken individuals.
