Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently affiliated with CNBC. She is a co-anchor for CNBC's programming 'Squawkon The Street', and Closing Bell'. Although she is an Ohioan, she wasn't interested in markets and currencies during college. She was an intern at ForexTV.com while she was studying at New York University. The first time she worked working in business news during this internship. Later, she earned an master's degree in broadcasting at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. She completed a four-month stint with Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. When she returned to the US and began to work at Bloomberg's office in New York. Later, she was promoted to anchor on TV. CNBC employed her as a reporter in December 2013. She has served as co-anchor on 'Worldwide Exchange and Power Lunch' before landing the position on "Closing Bell' in 2018. Eisen is co-anchoring "Squawk on the Street" since the year 2014. One of the most renowned business journalists of today her primary area of focus is on global consumer stories since she joined CNBC.
